Diveagar
a small village in Konkan is just 165 KM away from Pune
and about 180 KM from Mumbai. Diveagar has a six kilometer
long beach. The beach is very wide and clean. Another major
attraction in Diveagar village is a temple of Lord Ganesh.
It has an idol which is made of pure gold. This idol was
discovered by Mrs Patil, a few decades back buried along
with other treasure in a thick copper trunk in her beetel
farm.
